Frequently Asked Questions

Who can play this?

TINFA was designed with middle schoolers ages 10-14 in mind, math-wise, but the game is suitable for everyone! We could all use a little fun in our money education!

Which devices are compatible?

Currently, TINFA is designed for any sort of personal computer that can access the internet (laptop, PC, chromebook), but we have plans for iPads and phones.

Is my data (and my child's data) safe & private?

Keeping student and family data safe is a top priority as TINFA is built — details on our privacy practices will be published here as we get closer to launch.

What is the refund policy?

We have a *Learning Guarantee: students will have a learning assessment at the start of the game. If your student doesn't double their score or score 95%+ (whichever comes first) after completion of the last level, you'll get your money back. (That's how confident we are in teaching these skills!)

How do I claim a refund?

You can claim a refund by emailing hello.tinfa@gmail.com, noting the player's email ID (you or your student), and listing the player's scores for the Initial Learning Assessment and the Final Learning Assessment. (These can be found under the player's "Progress" tab.)

How does it fit a curriculum?

If you have a personal-finance segment of learning, we encourage launching it off with TINFA as a fun, comprehensive, and curiosity-sparking introduction. A major struggle with teaching personal finance is that it may seem daunting or boring, and TINFA is a great way to break that ice and build interest in personal money management.
